Morjens!

Vähän aikaa sitten oli Suomen Taidoliiton valmennusryhmän leiri. Valmennusryhmän harjoittelijoiden tavoitteena on edustuspaikka Suomen maajoukkueessa arvokilpailuissa. Osallistujia leirillä oli n 20. Leiri piti sisällään lihaskuntotestit, 12 minuutin juoksutestin, yhden kuntosalitreenin, hokei- ja unshinharjoittelua kahteen kertaan sekä sunnuntaina koko leirin kruunasi kahden tunnin jissen harjoitus. Leiri oli tiukkaa harjoittelua sekä omien vahvuuksien ja kehitettävien kohteiden tarkastelua. Luulenpa, ettei yksikään leirillä ollut selvinnyt ilman lihaskireyttä ja muutamaa mustelmaa :) Leiri oli mukava sekä tunnelma tiivis ja yhtenäinen! Yleisfiilis oli kuitenkin aktiivinen ja kaikki panostivat omiin suorituksiinsa täysillä. Leirin vetäjinä toimivat Suomen maajoukkuevalmentajat Mikkö Mönkkönen (päävalmentaja), Henri Kosonen ja Satu Kosonen.

A camp for the coaching team of Finnish Taido Association was held not long ago. The goal of the members of the coaching team is a chance to represent Finland in the National Team in a Championship Competition. There were about 20 participants on the camp. The camp included muscle condition test, 12-minute running test, one gym session, hokei and unshin practice twice, and to top it off on Sunday there was a single 2-hour jissen practice. The camp was hard training all the way as well as analyzing one´s own strengths and weaknesses. I´m pretty sure that none of the attendees survived without some muscle tension and a couple of bruises :) The camp was fun and the atmosphere was intense and solid! The overall feeling was however active and everyone put their fullest effort to their performance. The teachers of the camp were the coaches of the Finnish National Team Mikkö Mönkkönen (head coach), Henri Kosonen and Satu Kosonen.

Laura ja Sera paiskivat yhdessä hommia kolmen päivän ajan Suomen Taidoliiton toimistolla ja kyllä ne paljon saivatkin aikaan!!!

(Sera toimii taidon lajipäällikkönä ja Laura Koivisto on opiskeluiden kautta MM2013-hankkeen pariin tullut energiapaketti. Laura toimii MM-tapahtuman tiedottajana ja tulee varmasti tutuksi mitä lähemmäs tapahtumaa päästään.)

Laura:

"No nyt on aloitettu keräämään erilaisten taidokoiden tietoja Wikipediaan medianäkyvyyden lisäämiseksi sekä kädenojennuksena yhteistyökumppaneille. Tällä hetkellä Wiki-pilotissa on mukana vuonna 2011 maajoukkueessa olleita taidokoita. "

Tapahtuman ennakkokutsu lähetetään pian kansallisille taidoliitoille. Vielä pitää vahvistaa sekä kansainvälisten ystävyyskilpailujen että itse MM-kilpailujen sarjat, mutta sitten kutsu onkin valmiina. Uusia yhteistyösopimuksia on kirjoitettu Hanko Sushin ja Egimon Oy:n kanssa. Aiempia yhteistyökumppaneita, jotka ovat olleet remmissä mukana jo pidempään, ovat Sokos Hotel Pasila, Logotuote sekä Kotisivukone.

Minäkin tapasin Lauran kanssa ja hän informoi minua miten MM-projekti etenee. Tunnelma tapaamisessa oli hyvin letkeä, mutta kyllä se työntekokin onnistui ;)

Hi there!

Laura and Sera worked hard for three days together at the office of Finnish Taido Association, and boy, did they get a lot done!!

(Sera acts as the Brand Manager of Finnish Taido Association and Laura Koivisto is a live wire that came to the World Championship 2013 project through her studies. Laura acts as the PR-person for the World Championships and will surely get more familiar to all the closer we get to the event.)

Laura:

"We have now started to collect to gather data of different kinds of Taido people into Wikipedia to add media coverage and as a leg-up to the associates. At this moment there are taido people from the national team of 2011 in the Wiki-pilot."

The preliminary invitation to the event will soon be sent to the national Taido associations. The divisions for the Friendship Games and World Championships must still be confirmed, but after that the invitation is ready to go. As soon as the information is confirmed it will also be updated to the web site of the event. By clicking the logo of the World Championships at www.taido.fi you will soon be able to view the updated site.

New co-operation agreements have been made with Hanko Sushi and Egimo Oy. Associates that have already been in the gang for some time are Sokos Hotel Pasila, Logotuote and Kotisivukone.

I too met with Laura and she informed me about how the World Championship project is proceeding. The atmosphere was very laid-back but a lot of work got done as well. ;)
